OUR BALI DIVE CENTRE

Our dive center is located in Sanur, South Bali, next to our sister company Bali Scuba. Along with our offices, classroom and equipment room, we have two air-conditioned vehicles, an air/ Nitrox filling station, and a purpose-built 400 HP diving speedboat. Our diving speedboat leaves from Sanur Beach and takes 40 minutes to reach Nusa Penida. There is a recompression chamber and two western-standard medical clinics within 20 minutes of our dive shop.

OUR DIVE CREW

David Leksono – PADI Tec Deep Instructor 462730, IANTD Gas Blender & IANTD Advanced Nitrox. Part owner of Abyss Adventures and Bali Scuba (our sister company next door) who decided to branch out. Loves vodka, goby fish, scuba equipment maintenance and pork spare ribs more than anything in the world. Lived in various cities in the States.	Knut E. Hoff – PADI Tec Deep Instructor 502282 Part owner of Abyss Adventures and Bali Scuba (our sister company next door). Member of the worldwide army of Norwegian globetrotters, Knut landed in Bali for the first time 5 years ago and instantly fell in love with the 'Island of the Gods'. Been back too many times to count. One of our in-house instructors, and loves tek-diving.
Sudarmoko (Menyun) – PADI Instructor 462890, IANTD Gas Blender & IANTD Advanced Nitrox. Born in Malang, moved to Bali 5 years ago. Spent 4 years diving the Menjangan area hunting out the weird & wonderful - Seahorses, Mimic Octopus, Nudibranch, Frogfish. Wanting to be closer to the heart of the Bali diving community he moved down to Sanur two years ago.	Simon Gilbert – PADI Instructor 617694 Ex-Brit … born and bred in the UK, he saw the light and headed out East more than a decade ago. He ain’t going back. After flirting with Hong Kong and Singapore, and after an intense relationship with Japan, he finally fell in love with Bali and moved here two years ago.
Christian Satriawan – PADI Tec Deep Instructor 462391 & IANTD Advanced Nitrox. Former Trisakti Diving Club (TDC) member and scuba instructor who finally decided to establish his first scuba diving business with David. If you are a gadget freak and piercing maniac he is the guy to talk with.	Fandy Wijaya – PADI Instructor 463779, DSAT Gas Blender Instructor, IANTD Gas Blender & IANTD Advanced Nitrox. Childhood friend of David. Lived in Japan for several years, and stayed in various countries in Europe. Started diving 8 years ago and has worked in diving ever since. Organizes the trips, dives very very occasionally, but prefers his time in front of the computer. Playstation King.
Gus Kompiang Our resident Brahmin who takes care of the (many!) Balinese daily ceremonies we need to perform.	Ketut Nita Our most recent addition. Handles the accounts and paperwork for both our operations. Refuses to dive even though her husband is an Instructor.
