TECHNICAL DIVING COURSES

You'll dive at two of the best dive sites in Bali during your course, and combine your learning with some worthwhile diving.

 

Tec Deep Diver

After successful completion of the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course you'll be able to make gas-switch extended no-stop dives; decompression dives and accelerated decompression dives to 50m, using technical diving equipment with double tanks, and up to 100% oxygen.

  To enroll on the Tec Deep course you need to meet these requirements:
  • be certified as a Rescue Diver
  • be certified as an Enriched Air (Nitrox) diver
  • have logged 20 dives below 30 metres (or hold PADI Deep Diver Specialty)
  • have a minimum of 100 logged dives (with at least 20 logged Nitrox dives, 25 dives deeper than 18 metres, 15 dives deeper than 30 metres)
Tec Deep usually takes eight or nine days.
 

Tec Diver Level 1

Model: David Leksono If you're interested in technical diving, but haven't yet met the prerequisites for the Tec Deep Diver course, you can consider enrolling in the DSAT Tec Diver Level 1 course. Since it's part of the Tec Deep Diver course, your DSAT Apprentice Tec Dive course training credits toward the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course.

You'll learn to make gas-switch no-stop dives to 40 meters using air and Enriched Air (Nitrox) up to 60%, using technical diving equipment with double tanks.

To enroll on the Apprentice Tec course you need to be able to meet these requirements:
Tec Diver Level 1 usually takes five or six days.
 

TRIMIX Diver

The DSAT Trimix course results in certification down to 75m when using trimix (helium, oxygen, nitrogen).

To enroll on the Trimix course you need to meet these requirements:
  • be certified as a Rescue Diver
  • be certified as an DSAT Tec Deep Diver or have a qualifying certification in deep decompression diving using air/enriched air from another organization
Trimix Diver course usually takes five or six days.
 

DSAT Gas Blender

This course will train you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers. It can result in one of two certifications: DSAT Gas Blender or DSAT Trimix Blender. Requires Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification and takes one day.
